The controversy that simply won't go away.
Honolulu, Hawaii (CNN) – Hawaii Governor Neil Abercrombie vowed to end the "birther" controversy surrounding President Obama's nationality once and for all.
Abercrombie, a newly-elected Democrat, told CNN that he will do whatever it takes to prove once and for all that Obama was born in Hawaii.
However, in January- "Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie suggested in an interview published today that a long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate for Barack Obama may not exist within the vital records maintained by the Hawaii Department of Health.
Back on November 1st. 2008 Hawiian DOH Director Dr. Chiyome Fukino Said:
"State officials said Saturday they have personally verified that the health department holds Obama's original birth certificate.
"Therefore, I as Director of Health for the State of Hawaii, along with the Registrar of Vital Statistics who has statutory authority to oversee and maintain these type of vital records, have personally seen and verified that the Hawai‘i State Department of Health has Sen. Obama’s original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures,"
Either the birth certificate is there or it isn't. Appears to me that it isn't.

here's a question for you...
in the United States you have to prove that you have the legal right to work.
Does that include government jobs and elected officials?
Imagine for a moment what would actually happen if it turns out that President Obama really is not a US citizen.
Not only would it upset the balance of politics, but it would make a mockery of us to the world.
