We're Number One

U.S. News and World Report has recently named Eugene Oregon as one of the best places to live in the country. I have to agree but you must wonder what their criteria was when they list the following ratings:

Crime: High.
Cost of Living: High
Housing Price: High
Income: Low.

yeah, I agree. I have been here most of my life and I can't wait to get the hell out. so if there is something that I am missing, please tell me, because I don't see it.

I have to laugh when looking at the article about why they think Eugene is so great.
"Eugene calls itself the worlds greatest city of the arts and outdoors" Yeah, if you need art supplies you have to drive to Portland.

also it cites the U of O for being so great for being the location of Animal House and the Knight Library, but the U of O does not even make their list of colleges ranked by U.S. News. however Northwest Christian College made the list. (a college that I wish that I would have gone to instead of LCC)

Nope, Eugene to me make the list of the top 10 towns that suck and as soon as the bankruptcy is over with, can't wait to get the flock out of here.

assuming of course that people believe that Eugene is so great and I can sell my house.

Jobs???

Good luck!
