What more can you ask for?

Dr. Ron Paul has the endorsement of Arlo Guthrie!
Mr. Guthrie says:

ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA – Republican presidential candidate and Texas Congressman Ron Paul’s campaign has been endorsed by legendary folk singer-songwriter Arlo Guthrie.

Guthrie, known for a series of hits including “Alice’s Restaurant,” issued the following endorsement of Dr. Paul:

“I love this guy. Dr. Paul is the only candidate I know of who would have signed the Constitution of The United States had he been there. I'm with him, because he seems to be the only candidate who actually believes it has as much relevance today as it did a couple of hundred years ago. I look forward to the day when we can work out the differences we have with the same revolutionary vision and enthusiasm that is our American legacy.”

Way to go Arlo.

Al you got some 'splaining to do!

Just How Crazy Is Al Gore?
by Alan Caruba

"In a Jan. 24 Agence France Press story Gore asserted that, "the North Pole ice caps may disappear entirely during summer months within five years..."
I was instantly reminded of the story that ran in The New York Times in August 2000 claiming that the Pole was free of ice for the first time in 50 million years. It wasn’t, of course, because people who have actually been to the Arctic quickly noted that, in the summer, some ice actually does melt there. The Times retracted it three weeks later."

"The Times later published another story about Arctic ice loss, adding the equally bogus issue of polar bears dying as the result. Currently, Greens are trying to get polar bears declared an “endangered species” in order to close off all of Alaska to any exploration or the extraction of the billions of barrels of oil known to exist there.

The problem with this latest ploy is that the polar bear population has risen from approximately 5,000 in 1950 to around 25,000 today as documented by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. It is the same agency being asked to declare the bears endangered and, for good measure, a species of loon as well."

"Responding to The New York Times fantasy of a melting North Pole, Dr. Singer asked, “Do we believe theoretical models of the atmosphere or the atmosphere itself?”

He might as well have asked, do we believe the bloviations of Al Gore or do we take note of his lifestyle that includes a house large enough to burn through more energy than twenty average homes, the use of private jets and limousines, or any other aspect of his life that suggests he is not into bicycles or walking.

Dr. Singer stated that “It is warmer now than it was 100 years ago” at the end of the last mini-Ice Age and that “This has had an influence on polar ice, which has been slowly thinning, as it melts from beneath. And the ice will continue to thin for some time to come even though the climate is no longer warming. Moral: It takes a lot of time to melt ice.”

Don't bother explaining Al, we have enough hot air in the atmosphere already.

John McCain-not your man.

For those of you who are considering voting for John McCain lest not forget his unforgivable role in infamous amnesty bill last year.
If you're buying into the lie that he has seen the error of his ways and is actually for tough immigration laws and securing the border please read the latest column by Michelle Malkin.
In the article she reminds us of John McCain's true feelings such as when he attacked Sen. Cornyn during a spat over enforcement provisions when he said "Fuck You" and "Chickenshit" when questioned of some of those provisions. And how about the fact that he voted against barring felons from receiving amnesty benefits under his plan. Or how about when talking to executives in Milwaukee, according to a recent Vanity Fair profile-"By the way, I think the fence is least effective," and "But I'll build the goddamned fence if they want it."
It just goes to show you that you really can't teach an old dog new tricks.
If you want someone to really be on your side on this illegal invasion issue then McCain is definitely not your man.

Who's responsible?

The Houston Chronicle reports that Robert Camp, the owner of a landscaping firm was arrested and faces up to 10 years in federal prison , accused of harboring one of his workers a Mr. Juan Leonardo Quintero, an illegal alien from Mexico charged with capital murder of Houston police officer Rodney J. Johnson.
One must wonder the motive for Mr. Camps incredible desire to aid the illegal alien criminal.
August of 1998 Mr. Camp posted a $10,000 cash bond for Quintero was charged with indecency with a child.
March of 1999 Quintero was convicted of a sexual offense with a minor.
May of 1999 Quintero is deported from the U.S.
Nov. of 1999 Quintero boards a Southwest Airline from Phoenix to Houston. His wife claims Camp purchesed the ticket.
Sept. 2006 Quintero is accused of fatally shooting Houston officer Johnson in the head during a traffic stop and charged with murder.
The question I have is aren't the elected official both local and national equally responsible for this tragedy for neglecting their sworn duty to protect this country from invasion?

Texan of Year?

The Dallas Morning News has announced it's choice for Texan of the Year. It's the illegal (alien) immigrant. What a shocker.
True to the course, even though they acknowledged the obvious problems associated with the illegal invasion, the majority of the article is composed of comments such as " We can't seem to live with him and his family, and if we can live without him, nobody's figured out how." and " Especially here in Texas, his strong back and willing heart help form the cornerstone of our daily lives, in ways that many of us do not, or will not, see. The illegal immigrant is the waiter serving margaritas at our restaurant table, the cook preparing our enchiladas. He works grueling hours at a meatpacking plant, carving up carcasses of cattle for our barbecue (he also picks the lettuce for our burgers). He builds our houses and cuts our grass. She cleans our homes and takes care of our children."

As usual the MSM rarely highlights the damage this scourge has on the lives of everyday citizens lives, health, and property. Go figure.

Four presidential candidates make Top-Ten

Judicial Watch has just announced it's ten most corrupt politians. It's worth a read because four of the presidential candidates make this list.

1. Senator Hillary Clinton: Blocked the release of her white house records. Allegations of filing false financial disclosure forms with the U.S. Senate (again)(See previous post-Hillary Uncensored). Her top campaign contributor, Norman Hsu was exposed as a felon and a fugitive from justice in 2007.

2. Former Mayor Rudy Giuliani: his office "billed obscure city agencies for tens of thousands of dollars in security expenses for his affair with Judith Nathan. His former Police Cief and business partner Bernard Kerik pleaded guilty in 2006 to accepting a $165,000 bribe in the from of renovations to his apartment.

3. Governor Mike Huckabee: According to the AP his career has been colored by 14 ethics complaints and a volley of questions about his integrity. Rather than cooperate with investigators, Huckabee sued the state ethics commission twice and attempted to shut the process down.

4. Senator Barack Obama: He was given a "Dishonorable Mention" last year and managed to move up in the ranking in 2007. In 2006 it was discovered that he was involved in a suspicious real estate deal with an indicted political fundraiser. It was reported that just two months after he joined the senate, he purchased $50,000 worth of stock in speculative companies whose major investors were his biggest campaign contributors. He was also nabbed conducting campaign business in his Senate office, a violation of federal law.

Please don't elect another criminal, vote Ron Paul.

Ron Paul walks the walk.

While other politicians run around from photo-op to photo-op, Ron Paul is actually doing something to earn the respect and gratitude of America's law enforcement officers.
He has introduced a bill that would help cops obtain topnotch body armor. HR 3304 would amend the Internal Revenue Code to provide for a tax credit to officers who purchase their own body armor.
Rep. Ron Paul appears to be popular with many US cops. “He’s never found it necessary to force police officers to stand with him for photo opportunities the way other presidential candidates such as Hillary Clinton do,” said New York Police Officer Edna Aguayo.

One police officer claims cops in New York and other states are forced to pose with the likes of Senators Hillary Clinton and John McCain. If an officer refuses, he or she is charged with insubordination by their superiors.

“It’s a joke how these cops are used as props during election campaigns. But Ron Paul doesn’t pay cops lip service — he actually works to help them enforce the law,” said another cop forced to pose with Sen. Clinton during one of her staged “rallies.”

Rank-and-file police officers also applaud Rep. Paul for his pro-sovereignty stance. “The talk must stop. We must secure our borders now. A nation without secure borders is no nation at all. It makes no sense to fight terrorists abroad when our own front door is left unlocked,” said the Texas congressman during a campaign rally.

In addition, Congressman Ron Paul believes that the Second Amendment is “not about duck hunting.” It is an individual right that is guaranteed. He stated that he believes it is about the citizenry having the ability to restrain tyrannical governments and would-be dictators.
e believes the Second Amendment is about self-defense from criminal attack and from governments that break away from the chains of the Constitution. According to a poll conducted by the National Association of Chiefs of Police, more than 75% of the nation’s police officers agree with Rep. Paul’s stance on gun ownership including private citizens carrying concealed weapons for personal protection.

Just recently Congressman Paul opposed the reauthorization of the Clinton-Feinstein semi-auto gun ban. He opposes gun and gun owner registration. And Paul opposes government permission systems that force law-abiding citizens “prove” their innocence before buying or owning firearms.

Hillary Uncensored, Part 1 of 4

Finally there may be something that will derail the Clinton run for the White House. Working it's way through the California courts is a case of fraud, corruption and deceit that may find Hillary guilty of numerous felonies. She is being charged with knowingly working with fund raisers to gather over a million dollars at a Hollywood gala and not reporting it. It will be hard for her to sweep this under the rug if it goes to trial because of the number of high profile stars involved that will have to be deposed. Please be sure to watch all four short videos of this event.
