True Hate Speech

While the left wing groups are lobbying congress to investigate right wing radio talk shows and cable TV for what they claim is "hate speech", no mention is made of crazy nut jobs such as syndicated radio host Mike Malloy who goes off on Minnesota congresswoman Michele Bachmann calling her a whore and a crazy bitch. The hypocrisy is mind blowing.

That's probably because nobody pays any attention to Mike Malloy. As far as I can tell, no tv or radio station anywhere carries him.

I did not know that anybody is "lobbying congress to investigate right wing radio talk shows and cable TV". If you're going to make a convincing claim of hypocrisy, you should probably be more specific about who the hypocrites are.

Thanks for the comments and you're right I should have added a reference to my concerns. The following is a brief submitted to the FCC.
While the wording carefully avoids the terms "right wing" or 'conservative" as their target, they do not mention network television and I didn't notice any of the examples given for "hate speech" were from any left wing sites.

"NATIONAL HISPANIC MEDIA COALITION has awaited Commission action, hate, extremism and misinformation have been on the rise, and even more so in the past week as the media has focused on Arizona’s passage of one of the harshest pieces of anti-Latino legislation in this country’s history, SB 1070."

1) there is this thing called the First amendment.
2) They [Rush & others] are only echoing what a lot of people are feeling.
3)the commission investigates the hate speech and determines that "it was a hate speech", so, what of it?
people are still free to say what they want and people are still free not to listen.

as for SP1070, it is just beginning as it has shown that Politically correctness is not god.

Although there are about 30 co-signers to this petition it appears that it is mostly the product of the NHMC and is mostly concerned with their preconceived notion that because their voices are not being paid enough attention that they some how need to make others listen. You have the right to free speech but not to insist that others listen to you.
